Creative Planning that Your Whole Brain will Love

One highly effective and creative way to plan ahead is to use Mind Maps. Developed by the relentless champion of the brain, Tony Buzan.

Mind Maps are great for combining the logic and structure loved by your left brain with colourful dreams and creative outcomes of your right brain. This powerful combination of the left and right hemispheres of the brain working in unity when plan making leads to a very compelling and often “out of the box” outline of where you want to go.

In his Mind Maps book, Tony Buzan sets the challenge to Mind Map your desired future. Many people who taken up the challenge report that up to 80% of the things they doodled came to be.

Why? Because they dared to focus on their dreams. To express them creatively, yet clearly. And by doing so they set their sails and compass.

Mind Mapping is one of my favourite tools, I’ve used it to study, write books, plan workshops, structure personal development exercises and goals for myself and others and more…
